“This is my first year with this non-profit organization and I have had the privilege of volunteering at a senior center. I have benefited greatly from this experience. I not only learned how to communicate effectively with the elderly, but also understood the social problems they encountered in real life. Through patient listening and assistance, I tried to help them solve their problems, and I also participated in organizing the elderly's data and maintaining information files. These experiences not only enhanced my sense of responsibility, but also made me realize more the meaning of serving others."
